LinkTouch Turns 7 | Building the Future of Global Robotics, One Force Sensor at a Time
LinkTouch is seven years old.
There was no elaborate celebration or grand ceremony. Instead, a group of teammates who have fought side by side set aside their code, blueprints, and sensors for a while, gathered together, and reflected on the journey they have shared over the past seven years.
Seven Years: From Aerospace Heritage to a Leader in Force Sensing
Founded in Beijing in 2019, LinkTouch entered a market where China's high-end robot force sensor industry was almost entirely dominated by overseas manufacturers. High-precision six-axis force/torque sensors were widely regarded as one of the industry's most challenging technological bottlenecks.
Determined to change that, the founding team set out to bring aerospace-grade technology into commercial robotics and solve one of the industry's biggest challenges: enabling robots with precise force perception.
Over the past seven years, LinkTouch has established four core technology platforms covering:
- High-performance elastic body design
- Embedded hardware and electronics
- High-precision structural decoupling algorithms
- Six-axis synchronous calibration
Today, our flagship products—including six-axis force/torque sensors and joint torque sensors—deliver world-class performance, featuring:
- 0.1% FS accuracy
- Response frequency exceeding 10 kHz
- 500% overload protection
These technologies have positioned LinkTouch among the world's leading force sensor manufacturers.
According to data from GGII and MIR Intelligence, LinkTouch now holds 72.6% of China's humanoid robot six-axis force sensor market.
Our customers include many of the industry's leading innovators, including AgiBot, Galbot, Xiaomi Robotics, UBTECH, EngineAI, and numerous other pioneers in humanoid robotics.
Today, LinkTouch sensors have become the "force control nerves" that enable humanoid robots to perform increasingly human-like, delicate manipulation.
Seven Years: From an Untrodden Path to the Spotlight
The past seven years have been anything but easy.
Between 2019 and 2023, long before humanoid robots became one of the industry's hottest topics, LinkTouch spent five years building technology in a market with little public attention.
When demand accelerated in 2025, years of preparation turned into large-scale deployment.
That year alone, annual shipments surpassed:
- 100,000 joint torque sensors
- 10,000 six-axis force/torque sensors
In 2026, LinkTouch also attracted significant attention from the capital market.
Within less than six months, the company completed three major funding rounds totaling hundreds of millions of RMB. Its investors now include Sequoia China, CATL-backed Puquan Capital, AgiBot, Galbot, SAIC Capital, and SMIC Industrial Capital, among other leading strategic investors.
Perhaps the strongest endorsement is this:
Many industry partners first became our customers—and then chose to become our shareholders.
Orders validated our technology.
Investment demonstrated their confidence.
Seven Years: Powered by People
Every technical breakthrough.
Every production milestone.
Every customer's vote of confidence.
Behind each achievement stands a team that has given its very best.
During this year's team gathering, conversations naturally returned to the toughest engineering challenges we overcame together, the late nights we shared, and the customers we won through persistence and dedication.
Some teammates have been with LinkTouch since the very beginning.
Others have only recently joined.
Yet everyone now contributes to the same story.
Our seventh anniversary happened to coincide with our annual team-building event—a gentle reminder that while we continue pursuing ambitious goals, it's equally important to appreciate the people walking this journey beside us.
The Next Seven Years: Bringing Force Perception Everywhere
Looking ahead, LinkTouch will continue advancing force sensing technologies and developing next-generation sensing solutions for humanoid robots while accelerating our global expansion.
Our vision is simple:
To empower every robot with the ability to accurately perceive and interact with the physical world through force.
Seven years mark an important milestone—but they also represent a brand-new beginning.
To every member of the LinkTouch team:
Thank you for dedicating the past seven years to making "Built by LinkTouch" a trusted name in the global robot force sensor industry.
To every customer and partner:
Thank you for your trust, collaboration, and continued support. Your confidence has driven every step of our growth.
